I had to post this image before I go to bed tonight.  I know that lots of my family look at my blog in the morning.  I wanted you to start your day with this image.   We have all hoped and prayed that some day Pat and Jackie would be blessed with a child.  After many, many years of hoping and praying, their miracle is about to arrive.  Take some time out of your busy day to say a special prayer for them as they anxiously await  their little miracle.  We can't wait to meet your precious child. 

We had so much fun!

 I was waiting for this family to arrive at the park. Their van door popped open and I thought WOOO HOOOO!  Look at these cuties!!!  We had talked a lot prior to their session about outfit suggestions.  I think what Mom chose was PERFECT!  They are just an adorable family and so much fun to work with.  Didn't feel like work to me. I was just hanging out with some new little friends. :) 

 

 

Look how beautiful!!

I have been secretly wishing for this gorgeous family to ask me to capture their portraits.  They go to pre-school with my kiddos and they are the sweetest family.  This little guy smiles at me every time I see him.  You can see why I was so excited when they booked their session.  Look at their natural beauty.  Ohhhhh, that hair!!!!!!!  I have so many fun one of them playing together and just being kids , but I couldn't resist showing you their beautiful straight on SMILES!!!!!

Our little guy is 6 months old...........

I definitely got some expressions from him that say "why do you have me sitting in a basket in the middle of a creek?"  All in good fun, right! Not to worry, his Papaw and Aunt Katie were inches away from him.  Honestly he just sat there and looked around.  Notice the lines in the background of the picture.  This is called "texture". It adds a new dimension to the image.  Kind of a vintage look, I think.  These two are the same image.  Just different ways to look at it.

 

I LOVE to photograph this family!!

It is always a pleasure to work with this family.  They are so fun and soooooo photogenic!  I love the emotion of the black and white image.  I always take pictures of mom and dad during family sessions. When was the last time you had a picture taken with your spouse?  Believe me, it is something you will cherish.  There are SO many favorties from this session. Here are just a few!!

 

 

Some fun, senior style..............

I love to find new, interesting locations for my sessions.  I'm sure these Seniors were shocked when I told them where we were going, an old stone quarry! Their sessions are filled with neat backdrops you couldn't create if you tried.  There is a part 2 to their sessions that will be coming soon.  I know their mom's are dying to see a few so here you go.  Just a little sneak peek............

Stunning...............

It was so wonderful to meet this couple.  They are so exited about their baby and I heard that Grandma is too.  She encouraged them to get maternity pictures taken. She regrets not doing it herself when she was pregnant with her daughter.  I know I will forever cherish my own maternity pictures.  It is a time to celebrate this amazing,  wonderful miracle.  I think the beauty of the baby belly is just stunning!

Sending special prayers for some very special mommies-to-be!

You may have noticed that I have been so fortunate to have some beautiful maternity sessions lately.  I am patiently waiting to meet these precious newborn babies.  I want to send prayers to all of these mothers and fathers as they await the joyous time of childbirth. May God watch over you as you experience this true miracle!  My thoughts are with you and I can't wait for the phone calls to let me know your little ones have arrived.  I have everything ready to create their beautiful portraits.
