New and exciting changes are coming to Kami Laux Photography in the spring of 2009. I am busy working on a new, updated website and blog as well as new collections including the much requested digital collection. From January to March I will only be taking appointments for maternity, newborn and those who have already signed up for my baby plan program. Those time slots are going quickly so please contact me at kamilaux@gmail.com or call 317-797-3367 if you are interested. If you do try to access my website in the next few weeks it may be down due to construction. I look forward to getting back to my regular schedule again in the spring.
As many of you know, I have been undergoing treatment for thyroid cancer the last few months. We are THRILLED to report that the treatment was successful! The final scan on Friday 12/19 showed us that the cancer is gone and that NO additional cells were found, anywhere!! We could not be happier.
This has been quite a journey. One in which involved the help of so many of our wonderful friends and family members. We could not have done this without you. We want to thank everyone for their thoughtfulness, well-wishes and PRAYERS! I know that I had people praying for me all over the world and that helped more than words could ever express. We felt the prayers and that is what helped us remain strong for our children. We thank God everyday for the blessings he has bestowed upon us and this experience has only made us stronger in our faith.
I want to personally thank my doctors and nurses who helped me through this. Dr. Ayres, Dr. Biggerstaff, Dr. Martin and Dr. Hogshire, we will be forever grateful! A very personal "thank you" to the staff of Riverview Hospital including Lisa, Lisa-Marie, Carol, Becky and Rhonda. You helped make what could have been a very scary situation much more bearable. Thank you for your comforting care!

Thanks to all you have written to ask if I am O.K. Please keep me and my family in your prayers as I start treatment for Thyroid cancer. I will be returning to my work soon but for now I will concentrating on my health and family.

due to unforeseen medical circumstances I will be closing my business for the remainder of the 2008 year. It is with great sadness that I must cancel all remaining appointments. All sessions that have already taken place have been personally edited by me and will be posted by Wednesday 10/29. All orders that are placed by 10/27 will come in within 2 weeks. I want to send a very special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Beck for allowing us to do this photo shoot at their beautiful farm in Springboro, Ohio. It was the perfect setting for these beautiful children. I took so many pictures and you can see why. I have more to share but here are a few from the first set.
I wasn't able to do Emery's newborn session so we sure made up for that. I have some more beautiful images of her to share but here are just a few to tide mom and dad over. You gotta love that pink hat.
